Experience the cult classic like never before with a live-to-film performance of composer Joseph LoDuca’s score, along with a descent into The Cellar: An Underground Evil Dead Experience — a chilling underground horror journey prior to the show, exclusive to Los Angeles.

TIL Events, Street Food Cinema and Black Ink Presents proudly announce the Los Angeles premiere of THE EVIL DEAD IN CONCERT, part of the first-ever national tour bringing Sam Raimi’s groundbreaking horror classic to life in a completely new way.

Following its U.S. launch this fall, the tour arrives in downtown Los Angeles for an exclusive three-night Halloween weekend engagement, October 30 – November 1, 2025, at the historic Million Dollar Theatre featuring the debut of The Cellar: An Underground Evil Dead Experience, a first-of-its-kind underground immersive horror attraction.

This Halloween, one of Los Angeles’ oldest movie palaces, originally opened in 1918 by legendary showman Sid Grauman — will transform into unforgettable night of THE EVIL DEAD.

A National Tour with an Exclusive LA Twist
For the first time, audiences across the country will experience The Evil Dead (1981) like never before: a screening of the cult horror classic, fully restored, with composer Joseph LoDuca’s legendary score performed live-to-film by a seven-piece orchestra ensemble. In Los Angeles, the event takes the experience even further with the addition of The Cellar: An Underground Evil Dead Experience — an exclusive underground horror attraction that immerses fans into the terrifying world of The Evil Dead beneath the historic theater.

An Immersive Descent Into The Evil Dead Universe
Fans attending the Los Angeles dates will step into the world of The Evil Dead, encountering:
  • Live scare actors and atmospheric sets inspired by the Necronomicon universe
  • Chilling photo ops and multi-sensory horror effects
  • The Evil Dead-themed cocktails, full bars, and access to local fare from Grand Central Market
This marks the first time an immersive Evil Dead horror experience has been produced in conjunction with the film’s live-to-film concert presentation, offering LA audiences a fully interactive way to enter The Evil Dead universe just in time for Halloween.

An Iconic Horror Film
Originally released in 1981, The Evil Dead follows five college friends who unwittingly unleash ancient demonic forces while vacationing at a remote cabin in the woods. The film’s inventive practical effects, over-the-top gore, and irreverent humor made it a defining entry in independent horror history — spawning a beloved franchise that continues to thrill fans to this day.
“I am so excited for audiences around the country to join us on an intense, aural descent into hell with this beautiful score and all its madness,” says LoDuca, whose legendary career as a composer began with The Evil Dead and launched decades of collaboration with director Sam Raimi.
