Producer-director Cosmos Kiindarius talks with Jesus Figueroa, @ThisFunktional of ThisFunktional.com, about “The Great Grass Race” as the competitors get closer to finish line in Tampa Florida.

Menace Vision’s outrageous, never-before-attempted competition “The Great Grass Race” has everyone cheering on their favorite team as they head to the finish line in Tampa, Florida.

The unusual race takes ten contestants in five lawnmowers traveling 5.5 MPH over 3,000 miles across the United States.

With no food, no shelter, and not being able to use or take money, these amazing participants travel from Los Angeles to Tampa on the kindness of people.

The contestants find a way in a time of despair and uncertainty to have total strangers buy them a meal or open their home to the teams.

Creator and Executive Producer Denis Oliver had a dream to entertain the world, but it wasn’t enough for him to just create a reality show.

Oliver wanted to show that the kindness, benevolence, and goodwill inside people bind us together stronger than anything that divides us.
